Trying to incite Muslims to hate Teresa Kok now, Nazri?

What's with this guy? He's gonna get the Anak Merdeka Award for Ugliest Malaysian Politician months ahead of time.

From the NST website today:-

AN Opposition MP was yesterday accused of "hatred for Islam" during a clash with a minister over the directive for policewomen to wear tudung during parades.

It started when Teresa Kok (DAP-Seputeh) told Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department Datuk Nazri Aziz that the directive had violated human rights.

Nazri disagreed, saying the directive concerned uniformity.

This could be seen from the fact policewomen were not compelled to wear the tudung except when taking part in parades.

"It is not going against human rights, it is a matter of uniformity. For instance, parliamentarians wearing the Number One uniform are required to wear a songkok, even though they are Chinese or Indians.

"These people still remain Chinese or Indians and have not converted to Islam. Yang Berhormat (Kok) only shows her hatred for Islam when she brings this subject up," he said.

Kok did not take the remark lightly and demanded that Nazri retract it. She also called the Chair to make a ruling but Deputy Speaker Datuk Dr Yusof Yaacob said it was not necessary and ordered the proceedings to continue.

******

Nazri is running out, no, getting bankrupt of tricks to get himself into the pages of the newspapers as the mother champion of all champions of the Agenda Muslim/Melayu now.

Is he also eyeing for the title of "Biggest, Shameless BN Bully" in Pak Lah's cabinet? I wonder when the other BAD guy is going to up the ante next.

Read what else others have to say about him here, here, here, here, and especially from HER here.

Jeez.

Politicians who had past their prime had to stir up racial and religious issues to garner support and rejuvenerate their stars.

This man is now bankrupt of ideas.

Racist! Racist! Racist! That's what he knows to shout all the time.

A C&P from what I posted at Mave's:

See the sudden twist? From taxi-license bad boy and racist-phrase record breaker to 'best friend' of Teresa Kok (for the Squatgate) and DAP-Islam Hater now. When his political survival and his party's popularity is way dwindling down, you have to come up with something like this-to be the religion saviour.

Ya loh ... a few more cases like this and I need to hibernate for a while. It's so depressing.

Here in Malaysia the oppressor will forever point his finger at the victim and cry "foul"!

He assumes everyone is blind, deaf and ought to be mute as well.

What an ape. No wonder the West still think we live on treetops.

This guy appears to have a Jekyl and Hyde personality.

Or is he just blowing in the wind?
No, you cannot hibernate - otherwise how to vote in a bigger opposition?

Marvin, thanks for the link. I shall C&P part of the report here:-

Khairy: Don't champion only one community

Tawau: Umno Youth Vice-Chief Khairy Jamaluddin said Barisan Nasional leaders should refrain from harping on issues relating to one particular community, when they have an obligation to look into the interests of all communities through the power-sharing concept.

In this respect, the Youth wing must live up to expectations to defend Umno's integrity to maintain the party's status as the backbone of the ruling Barisan Nasional, he said.

He pointed out that it is easy to play the hero of a particular community within the context of Barisan Nasional.

"What happens if Umno plays the hero of the Malay community without taking into consideration the interests of the other communities represented in the BN?" he asked.
******

My thoughts? I'm just speechless by the remark made in the last paragraph.

Is Khairy really unaware of Nazri's "Islam-hater" accusation in Parliament when he raised that question in public?

Marvin, this is truly a comedy of errors!

I got the wrong link BUT it was a link that made perfect sense to me.

The link that you mentioned has got the NewsID=41068.

Yeah ... you got the right heading, and it is a topic relevant to this blog posting about "Islam haters".

I'll leave it to readers here to get their own conclusions about it.

Gosh - I can't believe it. I got a bonus link by mistake!

Anyway, thanks a lot Marvin! Both are so relevant.
