New circus could feature talented YB clowns & monkeys

This sounds interesting:-

FIRST IN ASIA: RM30 mil circus academy for Johor Baru (NST, 27 Sep 2006)
Chuah Bee Kim

JOHOR BARU, JOHOR: NOVEL Showcase Company Sdn Bhd, the owner of the Royal London Circus (RLC), is planning to set up a RM30 million circus academy at Danga Bay in Johor Baru, which will be the first of its kind in Asia.

Its president Paul Lee said talks are under way with Danga Bay Sdn Bhd (DBSB) to build the modern training facility to train circus acts such as juggling and acrobatics, among others.

Lee said the facility could also serve as a theatre for the staging of plays as there is a lack of such venues in Johor.

********************

I think some of our MPs in our esteemed Dewan Rakyat would make great trainers for this new circus academy should they ever need to find themselves another job after the next General Election.

After all, it takes a monkey to train another monkey, no? Heck, they have the whole set up there with clowns, actors, jugglers, tongue-twisters, fire-breathers, etc ...

There's just no lack of talents, after all they have been doing a fine job entertaining us for umpteen years.

I agree with you. All the MPs and Ministers should be sent to the academy to be trained as professional monkeys.

No I think testing them out on the human cannonball would be more apt.

Can be used like what was done during the trials for witches. If you r innocent no harm will befall you!

They are already qualified in what msm suggests.

is it really tht necessary to have one here? sounds pretty dumb to me but since MPs and Ministers are suggested trainers, I believe it now has good causes to stay. Valedictorian should be either son-in-law or close-one-eye. lol

I wonder where the RM30 million is coming from?

Is it another case of "bank loan"?

Was at the NEP vs Vision 2020 DAP public forum; the list of companies needed bail-out during the 1997 financial crisis was IMPRESSIVE. It includes among others Telekom and Red Box Sdn. Bhd. Just imagine the diversity! Truly asia!

"Yuh, lets monkey around with tax payers money, after all they don't care what we do to them." BN manifesto.

p.s. for those who don't know, Red Box Sdn. Bhd. runs karaoke business.

I was blog-hopping and realised many Malaysian bloggers actually have the same thought. Like WOW -- we are all in agreement over this, aren't we?

Send in those clowns then ... :-)

p.s. cc - did anyone in the Forum mention our next GE is most likely on next year? I keep hearing DAP ppl say that - watch out for the goodies from BN soon!

if they sepnd RM30mil expanding the number of cages at Zoo Negara,
we can even have gold-plated swings for the monkeys, silver bells for the donkeys, and ah, iron balls for HJ Angus cannonballs to fire; I'd offer to be the Docror confirming their "after" status -- Innocent? Dead or A-live:)

Another role I had lionged to pray is: Whuiip master:) Anak M: can, I let you have a go as a second.

This project may be OK as the two IR in Singapore will require lots of performers not all singers and dancers.

There will also be programs for other entertainers. I think this is a private venture perhaps they will be given some attractive land offer to set up.
