Roadblocks, mental blocks

Mr Lim said it well - the gung-ho action by our police force in mounting numerous roadblocks is a reflection of the state of mind of our BN leaders.

When Kuala Lumpur sneezes, I suppose Seremban also catches some of the cold. The local police is also mounting roadblocks along Jalan Sungei Ujong* since Saturday. And it has greatly inconvenienced road users, especially today, a Monday morning when people have work to do and kids have schools to attend.

What the heck for, eh?

I know I'm not the only one who is not happy. There are so many criminals running around inflicting misery on house-owners and law-abiding citizens who find themselves at the mercy of snatch thieves and rapists.

Can numerous roadblocks reduce such crimes? Is tackling such crimes so way down the to-do list of our policemen more interested in stopping the rakyat from exercising their right to be heard by way of peaceful gatherings?

I dunno. Seems stupid to me, and to many others who are stuck in traffic jams during rush hour because the police had closed off half the road to look at the faces of motorists.

And they wonder why the rakyat is so NOT HAPPY.

*Jalan Sungei Ujong connects Seremban town to the main North-South highway as well as to the new township of Seremban 2.

The oppositions are sore losers. They are to blame for all the political instability today.

Really Joe? I guess the rakyat does deserve all the Bung Mokhtars we have in Parliament because the majority voted BN into power. Cheers!

I think it is important that the government stays stupid and naive. Somehow, it present those who are discriminated a gap to weave through the control system.
